• Monday, July 12, 2010, 7:00 PM - RSCA Board Meeting. WSCC, 7604 Charleston Ave, between S. Braddock and Milton Ave. Regular monthly meeting of the RSCA Board. This meeting was moved from the first Monday of the month because of the 4th of July holiday. Will return to the regular meeting schedule in August. • Monday, July 12, 2010 to Friday, July 16, 2010, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Vacation Bible School. Held at the Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church, 905 Mifflin Avenue. “Galactic Blast” takes kids on an outer space voyage praising God. Through daily Bible Mission, kids will see space like never before, gain a new perspective of our planet earth, and learn easy “green” earth tips they can practice at home. • Saturday, July 17, 2010, 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM - The 3rd annual urban wilderness celebration to benefit Nine Mile Run Watershed Association. Lower Frick Park, Fern Hollow, Lancaster Ave. entrance. Fantastic food, delectable drinks, lively entertainment and super surprises under bigger tents. Entertainment by the Mon River Ramblers, with DJs J-Malls and High-Top Wrangler! Rain or Moonlight! $60 to join in for supper at 7 PM by Point Brugge Cafe and music from The Mon River Ramblers. $20 to join in at 9 pm for beer, snacks, two of the area's top DJ's and Frick Park after dark.
