It was perfect weather for the 2001 Easter Egg Hunt. About 60 children stopped by to enjoy collecting a few candy filled eggs thoughtfully left by the Easter bunny.

Terri Rosen, Civic Association president, patrols for doggie-do before the eggs get distributed

Katie Scherer, new Board Member, helps distribute eggs.

Board Member & local business owner Joe Cooper-Silvis helps hide eggs.

Betty O'Brien was in charge of egg & candy purchase.  She did a great job again this year!

The kids enjoyed looking around for eggs.

One young egg hunter is excited about seeing the contents.

Someone really thought that the puddle in the middle of the field was lots more fun than any old candy filled eggs....!

The eggs were hidden pretty well by using loose leaves.

Pittsburgh's Community Oriented Police stopped by to make sure nobody took too many eggs.  Regent Square COP Officer, Michael Blake, is pictured near the cruiser.

Everyone enjoyed talking with each other and meeting Officer Blake.

It was a great day for being out and meeting the neighbors!

Officer Blake and his team let the kids play with the car siren & PA system.  It was a real attraction.

In twenty years, this young lady will pay for the privilege of a mud bath like this!  Enjoy it now while it's free, kid!

Some kids are just natural hams!
