It was a picture-perfect day for the 2003 egg hunt. About 400 eggs were distributed to approximately 100 children. At one point, the field was full of kids and their parents enjoying the nice day.
RSCA board member Kelly O'Brien made sure that all of the materials were on hand and Betty O'Brien filled each of the 400 plastic eggs with candy. Jon Danzak, Cary Marty and one other volunteer hid the eggs beforehand. Betty also came to oversee distribution of small bags for collection to the children. Alina Keebler and Barbar charles staffed the membership booth and randomly picked Phil & June Beghley of LaClair as the winner of a gift basket from those who joined the Civic Association at the event.
Thanks to Ken Batista for contributing the pictures.
