Regent Square Resident and Mural Committee member Faro says that everything is set up and they're ready to start! |
And start they did; lining the wall in a grid and transferring images from paper sketches to the wall in pencil. The wall was prepared last weekend (12-July-2003) after the Richmond-Sanders lot dedication. |

Bill Mitchell, an admirer of the artist and resident of Pleasant Hills, gets busy right away! |
Marilyn Cooley (foreground) casts a critical eye along with her young charge Katie Sweeney. |
|
Ty Sweeney got up close to see, but turned to smile for the camera as a passer-by takes a quick look. |
The artist, Kristen Williams, is hard at work making sure every detail is accurate. |
|
Kristen is keeping busy, a things are getting filled in. |
There are a lot of materials and colors to bring out every time that work gets started. |
|
There is amazing detail, down to the right number of dormers on houses, roof color, number of trees around properties. |
The larger foreground birds are starting to get filled in too. |
|
Stay tuned, more to come...
