A drawing of the mural to be painted on the wall of Braddock Avenue Express at the corner of Hutchinson & South Braddock Avenues..

Regent Square Resident and Mural Committee member Faro says that everything is set up and they're ready to start!

And start they did; lining the wall in a grid and transferring images from paper sketches to the wall in pencil. The wall was prepared last weekend (12-July-2003) after the Richmond-Sanders lot dedication.

Bill Mitchell, an admirer of the artist and resident of Pleasant Hills, gets busy right away!

Marilyn Cooley (foreground) casts a critical eye along with her young charge Katie Sweeney.

Ty Sweeney got up close to see, but turned to smile for the camera as a passer-by takes a quick look.

The artist, Kristen Williams, is hard at work making sure every detail is accurate.

Kristen is keeping busy, a things are getting filled in.

There are a lot of materials and colors to bring out every time that work gets started.

There is amazing detail, down to the right number of dormers on houses, roof color, number of trees around properties.

The larger foreground birds are starting to get filled in too.

Stay tuned, more to come...
